Bridges were fantastic at my wedding! The song choices were point and got everyone up on the dance floor all night long. They even did our first dance on request which was super special. We had asked for a ceilidh and they were smart enough to intersperse this with normal songs so people didn't get tired and peel away. Bridges, phenomenal! On the night their performance was absolutely outstanding, keeping the dance floor packed from start to finish. Even their DJ set for interval and after their live performance was bang on! Communication with Gus throughout our wedding planning was great and completely hassle free.l with Bridges taking the time to learn our first dance and also taking note of any other special requests we had. Bridges were absolutely fantastic and even better than what we had hoped for. They delivered everything we wanted from a wedding band and more! Communication with the band was good and they arrived on time and set up ready to go without us even being aware of them. They got everyone up for the ceilidh and explained the dances really well for anyone unfamiliar with ceilidh or needing a refresher. They performed our first dance song beautifully and definitely did a classic song justice! The rest of the night was then filled with excellent tunes and energy that kept everyone up on the dance floor and having a ball. Overall they’re a friendly and professional band with very talented musicians. We highly recommend them for weddings or any other parties/events.

Absolutely fantastic, could not recommend enough. They provided the perfect mix of ceilidh and other music, all led with patience, clarity and showmanship. The band were very accommodating for our special day by not only playing a version of our first dance song (which we loved) but also taking a few last minute requests. Many guests were also raving about Bridges and a few have followed up to ask us where we booked them, so there may be some follow ons! Barn at Harburn, 27-Jul-19

Bridges played our wedding at the Barn at Harburn last weekend, and we have been getting non-stop comments from guests about how much they loved their performance! Most of our guests were American (with two left feet!) and had no idea how to ceilidh, but Bridges was super-patient with us. The musicians even came down and helped us out a few times with the footwork during the evening. They did a fantastic job of judging when everyone needed a break from dancing (like after the ceilidh) and took time off then. They played an amazing repertoire of covers from the '70s-present that got all of our family members out of their seats. Even my dad was up on the dance floor for a few numbers, which is a straight-up miracle! Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. They will make your function one for the memory books. (I also posted this feedback on Bridges' FB page. They were amazing!)

Bridges were absolutely great... everyone loved them. We live in England but got married in Scotland, and so booked them having only seen the promo videos on the website - but we were not disappointed, Gus was super friendly over email on the run up to the wedding and fabulous on the night, Charlie was wonderful on the fiddle and got everyone dancing a ceilidh... and the lead guitarist wowed us with some insane solos. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. THANK YOU!!!

Myself and my new husband Martin booked Bridges before seeing them perform live in order to secure the booking after reviewing the videos of all the function bands listed on Music for Scotland's website. We were very excited to attend the Music for Scotland showcase, at the Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh in order to enjoy all the function bands' performances but specifically Bridges. Myself and Martin were blown away by their performance and how eclectic their song choices were and we have to add, the best live performance of 'Everywhere' by Fleetwood Mac we have ever seen and heard! On Saturday 28th April we had our wedding day, and prior to the day, Bridges had been in touch by email to check if we had any specific song choices in addition to our first dance which was kind. Bridges arrived at our venue - The Tontine Hotel in Greenock - and set up, communicating with the hotel staff and then beginning their set with the first dance Stand by Me - but not the Ben E King version - Bridges kindly performed the Florence and the Machine version at our request. The entire set was so varied and fun, also providing a Ceilidh for an hour, which was a great surprise for our guests. My reason for booking Bridges was that myself and Martin wanted a band which you would want to see perform at a gig. Who play music for the love of music which brings people together and have a great time. I can pass on that Bridges exceeded our expectations and all of our family and friends who attended our wedding day cannot stop talking about Bridges and what an amazing evening they all had.
